Over 100,000 young people in Ireland have taken part so far in the Young Social Innovators programme. Kooba designed and developed a new website that reflected the needs of young people and educators who participate.

The goal was to support educators and tell the story of innovations led by young people.
Young Social Innovators fires young people’s passion to change the world for good and our website supports them in this mission. Specifically, we helped YSI to automate a complex project reporting system that works with their existing database.
What we did
Through a series of needs analysis workshops, along with wide stakeholder and end-user engagement, Kooba identified and documented the key purpose of the website: to inform and support educators and young people taking part in YSI programs, to tell the story of their organisation, and to champion the idea that social innovation is a powerful thing.

As YSI's digital partner for the last 5 years, we have worked to build and continuously optimise the site to deliver on the core organisational objectives. Our most recent site updates included an extensive redesign to introduce a more contemporary look and feel. With a shared understanding of the site goals, we have continued to work closely with YSI to ensure their online presence remains state-of-the-art.
